We process your personal data to carry out and manage the application process, review and evaluate your application, and assess your suitability for the position. The information you provide is used solely for reviewing your application and conducting the recruitment procedure. The legal basis for this processing is § 26 BDSG. Additionally, it may be necessary to process your data to defend or enforce legal claims, which also constitutes a legitimate interest under Art. 6 Abs. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR.

If your application documents contain special categories of personal data according to Art. 9 Abs. 1 GDPR, we will process these within the scope of employment law, social security law, or social protection rights. The legal basis here is Art. 6 Abs. 1 S. 1 lit. c GDPR in conjunction with Art. 9 Abs. 2 lit. b GDPR and § 26 Abs. 3 BDSG.

Your applicant data will only be shared with those within our company who need it to conduct the application process and evaluate applicants. Since we process your data digitally, it cannot be ruled out that our IT service providers may access it (e.g., during maintenance or support, cloud services). These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and legal obligations.

When visiting our website, our web servers automatically record your IP address assigned by your internet service provider, the webpage from which you visit us, the pages you visit on our site, as well as date and duration of your visit.

Personal data that we need solely for processing your application will only be stored if you voluntarily provide it during your application submission. We handle your personal information with utmost care and integrity, collecting, storing, and using it only for intended purposes in compliance with relevant data protection laws.

We only collect data necessary for your application at Northern Helicopter GmbH, processed based on Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a and lit. f GDPR.

By submitting your data for the application process, you agree to its processing and transfer solely for this purpose and confirm that all information provided is truthful. You are aware that false statements could lead to termination of employment.

Storage Duration: Your personal data will be stored for six months after the conclusion of the application process and then deleted unless legal requirements prevent deletion or longer storage is necessary for evidentiary purposes or if you have consented to extended storage.

If we enter into an employment contract with you, we will transfer your data into personnel records in accordance with § 26 Abs. 1 BDSG; further details will be provided separately.

Data may also be processed based on legitimate interests under Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit f GDPR if needed for legal claims after the application process.

After submitting your information via a secure connection (TLS encryption), it is transmitted directly to our external service provider’s server.

Application for Published Positions

You may include a statement in your cover letter consenting to use your application materials for other suitable positions within our company—this constitutes consent under Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit a GDPR.

Unsolicited Applications

If you submit an unsolicited application not linked to a specific position, we may consider it for other suitable vacancies within six months after rejection or withdrawal.

Data Security

Your data is hosted securely by a provider under order processing according to § 28 GDPR with technical and organizational measures in place to protect against unauthorized access, loss, manipulation, or destruction.
